Heard some static for a couple seconds on 40 meters but it did not
cause a radio blackout. In fact I heard there were openings on 6, 10

N-S paths are hot on 20 meters. Just talked to a guy in Buenos Aires
with a wire antenna and 100 watts (both of us) - excellent signals
both ways.
