Palstar R30 is NOT in the same group of radios such as Lowe
HF-150,despite of much physical similarities.To start listing the
differences, my R30CC has two very decent Collins mechanical
filters . According to all reviews published it has a pretty high
dynamic range and I never experinced any overload / intermodulations.
However, Lowe HF-150 was designed (!) be used with an external
preselector... Palstar I own has a high serial number,as far as I am
aware of, and has two speeds for tuning. It is a high performance
receiver ,but does not have a keypad nor remote,unfortunately.
