I HOPE you didn't pay more than about $30 for it.
that's exactly what i paid.
I have a PRO-95 (similar to the -93 I think), have for years. It's a great
scanner but with the rebanding law certain trunking systems don't work
anymore, also doesn't cover LTR or APCO digital.
I'm looking at the new PSR-310, just received approval and slowly coming
into all the online stores. No digital but digital's not worth the money in
my location, but it covers Motorola, EDACS, and LTR, as well as the
rebanding and the UHF mil-air band (which I've never heard/used).
One of the good things about the PRO-93 and PRO-95 is that if you use Don
Starr's programs, you get to enter any frequency except cell, though
reception isn't as good/is useless depending on the frequency. (mil air
doesn't seem to work)

Using a -93 or -95 is OK I guess if you use it for ham radio and
non-trunking stuff below the 800 MHz band.
I wouldn't buy a non-rebanding scanner off eBay, and I can't believe
they're selling them, it's just unethical.
