Well, the truck is going in to Ford this coming week. Needs the CD player
replaced and they will install the filter in the fuel tank at no charge, so
I might as well have it done. Is anybody aware of any other tech service
bulletins for noise? My Ford dealer says if there is a TSB, they will do it
as warranty work at no charge. Sure would like to load up on all the RFI
bulletins while it's still in warranty!

the fuel pump will run for a few seconds when you turn the key on and then
stop
because it builds up pressure in the line. when you turn the engine over
the
pump will start up again to keep the pressure up for all the injectors.it
will
never stop till you shut the car off . it has a return presure valve in
the
line to return fuel to the tank...bet it is the pump giving you the
noise..
