Anyone using either of these AM Loop Antennas ?
How do they perform ?
i want to know ~ RHF
.
Using this antenna - 3 ft version:
http://www.angelfire.com/mb/amandx/loop.html
12 turns #12 spaced .4 in. center to center apart w pickup loop 2 in.
from main loop. Will not overload my SDR. Tunes approx. 380 kHz to 2.1
MHz - top freq. depending on how much coax you feed it with. I used #
12 because I already had 2000 ft. Cost about 15 bucks for wood and
capacitor.
If you buy an amplified loop make sure it has a gain adjustment or it
will probably overload the radio.

Pretty sure Angelfire went bye-bye some time ago. I used to have a website
there back in the day, but they closed all their sites, IIRC.
It looks like its angelfire.lycos.com now but the web site link
still checks out here as is.

All I get is a 404 error page.
