I wonder what the dinosaurs did when it got cold - after a bunch of meteor's hit the earth and blocked out the rays of the sun with the dust cloud it produced.

Was it enough to knock the earth off it's axis and was it enough to scare them into submission. There was probably some cave man running around telling everybody that the world was going to come to an end and was trying to get the dinosaurs to stop producing greenhouse gasses.

Opps - I forgot - most of those hydrocarbons were being made in the swamps of PA and north American at that time.
