I'm interested in identifying the Elementary Electronics Magazine issue
that
contains the One Tube Superhet project. It is from about 1970. I built
this
project, back then, and still have the radio but not the magazine. I have
salvaged a few parts over the years for other projects but bringing it
back to
it's former glory will be easy. Thank you, doug

The September 1956 "Popular Electronics" had the following article on a
one-tube superhet, the "Minidyne", built around a 6U8:
