Hello. I have a number of SW radios to sell. I also have a Sangean CC
radio for sale. It is in very good condition. Not sure of price but
somewhere in the $40 range is what I was thinking. Here are the SW
radios that I have:

Bearcat DX-1000
Radio Shack DX-440
Radio Shack DX-370

The Bearcat is in good condition with slight oxidation on the handle(s)
and the main tuning knob is a bit wobbly but works just fine. $125 plus
shipping. I have it listed on eham site and here is actual picture of
radio:

The DX-440 is in great working condition and good cosmetic condition.
$70 plus postage.

I am asking $35 for the DX-370 plus postage.

The DX-1000 is a great radio. Some dip**** reviewer gave it bad marks
because he didn't like the buttons and killed it. I think Uniden still
services them for a ridiculously low flat rate.

Great radio?

Now you've gone and lost any credibility you had. The Dx-1000 was/is a
huge dog, RF wise. The buttons were just another bad part of it. The
basic receiver was pretty sad.

That may have been a QC issue. I bought one used, got it aligned at the
factory, and it worked great. The rotary encoder failed eventually. It
would tune down to 10 KHz, so you could listen to 19 KHz SCAs on it. I
traded it and a DX-302 for two R390A receivers (a Stewart Warner and a
Motorola).
