Jameco is a pretty good company. I've never had any problems with them.
I don't suppose you bothered to let them know they sent you the wrong
part. Anyone can make a mistake.

Last time I ordered from Jameco was when they had a closeout sale on
some discontinued parts real cheap.. I got about two dozen CA3028's
intended for a future project. They had cut, formed leads to plug into
an 8 pin dip socket, otherwise prime. The're still in my parts bin
and will probably get used in a rig I'm designing.

As far as computer stuff goes, Jameco is about 2 years behind the state
of the art as far as what they have to sell (anybody STILL building
Pentium II computers, you can get your mother boards at Jameco!).
