In the infamous Katyn forest the total number of executed Polish officers was 4421 (from the 1959 official KGB records)... the rest were shot in several OTHER locations such as Ostashkov (6311),Starobelsk (3820) and several other locations in Ukraine and White Russia. The total number as per KGB- was 21857. Now - let's see, David Irving was 7(!) years old when WWII ENDED. What firsthand knowledge can he possess/obtain ?
