Well, I went back after posting my previous mail and everything
worked. I even caught a guy on simplex 25 miles away testing it on the
floor of my truck. I dont know what happened.

Does anyone know where I could get a manual for it? I could not find it
on the alinco website.

Also, are these radios any good? Can they be programmed with an offset
for repeater work? (The guy told me it would work on repeaters).
