That's about how long I fooled around with CB until I got a ham license
back in the
summer of '76. The old tech license, now known as the "old tech plus",
general
written and 5wpm receive *AND* send. Took my test at the FCC field
office in
NYC back then. A few years back I upgraded to an "extra lite" :-) Took the
advanced and extra writtens Jan 2000 and cashed in the CSCE's on
restructuring
day.
