No. In Vietnam it was the lily-livered liberals in the Johnson
administration who who more concerned with the views of the campus
pinko's, than with doing what needed to be done.

So you had a typical half-assed attempt at beating VC, instead of
turning the whole place into a scrapyard.

Well put.....don't forget Mrs. LBJ and her interest in Bell Hellicopters and
of course the 'construction company'.

Actually tho if one wants to be technical. Nixon is partly responsible
also. He was the VP when Ike sent in the first 'advisors'. But thats a
bit of a stretch.
