The current height limit in Cedar Hills, 45 feet, is obviously way too
restrictive. The ordinance would even conflict with the FCC regulations that
allow CB antennas to be placed up to 60 feet on a dedicated mast or tower
structure, or twenty feet above an existing object taller than 60 feet.
Clearly, licensed Amateur Radio operators should have access to antenna
structures taller than that. Therefore, in my opinion, Thunborg is correct
to ask for a change in the zoning ordinance.

Right on target.
