Wow, I certainly did not expect such remarks. It is a beautiful Antenna tuner. Looks like it could handle Amateur Radio's legal limit and then some. I just do not need such a device at this point. Blame it on Ebay sellers tactics in the newsgroups. Flooding newsgroups with their sales, crossposting all over the place, changing headers to get around filters - FA has always been the suggested way to start an ebay listing, which is easy to filter, but must have been too much trouble for some. Add to that that at least a few of us have been badly ripped off on Ebay, I could leave negative feedback - yeah, there's a recourse. hopefully it is understandable that some of us would rather keep auction ads off a newsgroup that isn't about buying or selling things. - 73 de Mike N3LI - |

While I understand the logic in your response, there have been many completely off topic subjects posted without such reactions. Those posts weren't from Ebayers tho'. There's been a convention for years when folks want to spew their Ebay merde on the newsgroups. Put FA as the first part of the subject. But apparently many of them do not like that - after all not as many people will see their ad then. This was posted as for sale, not as FA - I wouldn't have even seen it otherwise. Rest assured, there are those of us who detest Ebay, and have enormous issues with the ads showing up in newsgroups where they shouldn't be. If I see the posts, I will reply. Cecil's crap in the mall was spot on. - 73 de Mike N3LI - |

Perhaps if the Ebay lowlife were to share some of their profits with us it might not be so bad, eh Cecil? .... naah it would be just as bad. - 73 de Mike N3LI - |
