I have been given a couple of oldie goldies and would appreciate any assistance in identification. They can be viewed at http://members.shaw.ca/finkirv2/oldiegoldies.htm Thanks in advance for any assistance Irv VE6BP -- The Key has now been identified thanks to Randy Cole. It is "... a WW2 Deluxe Original.with the older style frame and damper castings. I've attached a picture of one made a few months before yours. The fingerpiece (knob) has been replaced with a black oval paddle. As you know, some ops preferred two paddles. Vibroplex started using the more modern rounded frame and damper castings around S/N 140,000. The base on yours looks a bit thicker than usual but maybe that's just the picture. It should be 1/2" thick." -- quote from Randy's reply to my query. He certainly knows his keys! Thanks to all the others who took the time and trouble to assist me.
