Fluke meters?
 

I am considering purchasing a Fluke meter to do some
alignments & repairs here.
Can anyone reccomend a Fluke meter model or anothere brand model?

What sorts of alignments and repairs?

If you're doing solid state stuff, the hFE function is very handy to have.
The capacitance tester is very handy for just about all technologies I
think, although it's bad to put too much faith in it. If you are working
with audio and need reliable measurements of non-60 Hz AC, it's important
to get a true-RMS meter, but if you do not, it's not worth the substantial
extra cost for true-RMS functions.

I have found the frequency counter function VERY handy for working on
a lot of things. If it goes high enough, you can use it even for things
like making sure the LO is on-frequency.
