Yes it is...

I cut my party teeth with a Boston eight track tape playing in the
background. I caught them live in 1977 in downtown Cleveland. Great show.

Sorry to hear about Brad Delp hitching a ride.

Yeah really! I wish I knew how many antennas I made while listening to
Boston with the Volume Cranked up to the pain level! And how many times
I exceeded the speed limit, looking for a liquor store.

These ****ing rockers have trouble reaching 60. The lifestyle must be very
taxing.

Hello All: "War story alert"

That sounds great! Hope you got a few photos. I got a kick out of their
Album Covers, saying that they had a broke and distorted piece of audio
equipment that was left in the original cuts, as it sounded great!

While over seas working for my company (working heavy machinery) we
where all waiting for a airplane to get us all out of a less than
desirable vacation location. A dirt run way with on again and off again
rain, figuring we would have to spend another night sleeping in the
jungle, everything was wet and miserable.

The old transport airplane looked like a million bucks, even if it was a
few days late. The crew was playing Boston over the public address
system, I think it was "More than a feeling" I still remember the goose
bumps on the back of my head, and renewed feeling we where all gonna get
out of their safely, as the plane rolled up to us.

I was in charge of the guys, and asked the one of the crew if he could
turn up the volume. He says: "Sure Dude" the lack of fidelity was
obvious, but the sound and the feeling it gave everybody will never be
forgotten.

Got to meet Delp and Scholz backstage on tour right after the band came
out with their second album. Delp was super cool, Scholz acted a bit
arrogant after being told his second album was nothing more than a
rehash and remix of the first album's (sorry, but it's true) arrangement
but Delp chimed in with, "That's because Tom's not really a musician but
an engineer. How many times do you need to hear that, Tom?"
Delp gave a great story published in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution
after the show.
Might still be in their archives...story was titled, "Boston takes
Atlanta home tonight."

Delp had a great voice and he will always be remembered as THE sound
behind the Smokin' Boston.
