Top of the morning to ya!!!

Funny you should mention that.......... PRIME RIB!!!!
Going to use a soy/honey marinade the night before.
Then I have a rub I make that consists of: Onion powder,
cumin (spelling), hickory salt, Salt, Pepper, paprika and
a couple of other thrown it for good luck.
Then I'm going to sslllllllooooooowwwwwwww cook
it approx 6 to 8 hours on the Q, using apple wood chips.
I've been doing a lot of slow, indirect smoking type cooking
as of late, turning out to be the best.
I've got a built-in brick Q, but I added a smoker style top
along with a smoker box that drops onto the coal ( I use
mesquite charcoal), so indirect smoke cooking has been
great as of late.

Have a great Holiday! On Saturday I'm taking my son
to a train museum. Sunday, go for a ride on the bike
over to the Bay Area to a friends house and hangout around
his pool drinking beer. Monday, hangout with the family in
the backyard, slow cook that Prime Rib and soak in the Hot tub! It just
don't get much better

Sounds good, we are going to try and perfect our baby backs this
weekend. My wife has her dry rub down pretty good, I just need to
settle on a mop sauce. And of course do some beer sampling. :-)
Any rate, its going to be a fun weekend rain or not. Supposed to rain
all weekend down here.

Have a great Holiday...
