Hard Core DXers
 

With apologies to Scott Adams, it has become obvious that amateur radio
has three distinct classes of people, each with its own evolutionary
destiny:

1) Knowledgeable and Deserving DXers who will evolve into godlike
non-corporeal beings who rule the universe (except those who are
attached to a DXcluster under a club call sign). These are called "Hard
Core".

2) DXers who try to pass as Knowledgeable and Deserving but secretly
monitor 14.247 for new-new-1's. This group will gravitate toward jobs
as elementary school principals and operators of pet crematoriums.
Eventually they will become extinct.

3) Non-DXers who will grow tails, sit in zoos and fling dung at
tourists while screaming GOOD ONE! GOOD ONE! UP! UP!
