Sorry abt the cross post but I could use some assistance ID'ing this componant.
Hi All,
I'm working on a LOW BUDGET project and I am trying to use junk-drawer componants to revive some old equipment for some soon-to-be HAMS. One project I have is to install a CTCSS (PL) board into a conversion UHF rig. I have the tone board but it's not a ComSpec which are the ones I am most familiar with. Can any of you help me ID and possibly come up with a spec sheet on the following part? It's using the MX-Com MX315 chip Older model - no SMT. Has six dip switches instead of the usual five. Has a five wire connector with the following lables: 8T - Orange Wire - 8T?? RT - Yellow Wire - Receive Tone?? E - Brown Wire - ??? TB - Red wire TO - Green Wire - I would assume to be Tone Out On the componant side of the board is X52-1260-?0 On the solder side is J25-3186-03 I checked into MX-Com but they are long gone.. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! TIA Please email any response to kb6zop AT manicarcade dot com |
