Need some additional info first. What kind of coil and what are you using it
for?

I am building one transistor colpitts oscilator, it will act as BFO
for my AM radio so I could receive SSB.

Just use the primary of a IF can. Most already have the resonating cap built
in to the bottom of the can. If it's for 455 KHz, and you don't have any,
send me a snail mail address and I'll send you a couple.

My radio IF is 465kHz.
It is a old radio, Russian made.

455-465, close enough that retuning the slug should work fine. If you still
haven't found one, send me a mailing address and I'll "tune" one for you.

Regards
