As a homebrewer and a homebrewer, I think that's what I'll name my next
batch!

I suppose you could brew up some "BPL" (boiled-pepper lager), but
what's the sense in making a beer which drowns out all the flavors in
your food and makes it impossible for you to talk?

Mike, we need to get together at Dayton04 and bring some samples. My
smallest sample size is a 3 gallon corny keg.

Hams used to refer to bottles of beer as "cold 807's"
Then again, the "hippies" in my old radio club used to
refer to pot (not the resistive or cooking vessel kind)
as 'triodes'. A strong stash was a power triode? Guess
a bong was a water cooled triode? OH well....

Just a thought, my 5gal stainless steel Cornelius kegs would
make great hi Q VHF resonant cavities but the only way I can think of
tuning them would be to vary the beer level by drinking it. However if I
was having a lot of QSOs involving a lot of channel changes then I would
be forced to drink a lot of beer .... and consequently not capable of
having a coherent QSO 'cos I make very good beer ..... on the other hand
I could stay fixed frequency but not be able to drink the beer .......
Ah well, back to the drawing board !!!!!
