I am having difficulty gaining several States to qualify for the WAS Award.
Have a few unconfirmed that dont use QSL Cards or Electonic Logging

Could I enter into a contest solely for the purpose of obtaining QSO s for
WAS Award

by registering in the Contest .but only answering CQ Contest calls that I
am interested in.

My reason for this is not,that I am not interested in Contests ,its just at
this stage I dont feel I have the necessary skills to participate in a
Contest t

First, let me start out by saying I cant stand contests. Did I say I cant
stand them? I cant stand them. When theyre going on it seems like you
cant talk to anyone without them needing to know the exchange info they
need for their contest, and all it is, is the old "wham, bam, thank you
mame" with a line on a log and a lie about the RST. However, I need to
give them the right exchange info so I dont mess it up for them . . . if I
expect to talk to anyone.
