Default What's your field day plan?

For me, I'm planning to operate W5ROK Class D using 1 transmitter. We are
going to run voice and CW and if propagation is even half good you will be
able to hear us. The club's station Antennas are great and we will be runn
ing 500 watts on 80 Meters and up.

How about you? Going to sleep though field day?

:-)

I'm going up to Napa for the weekend. A friend and I are taking
my sister-in-law out to lunch for her birthday, but after that
we may drop by the Silverado ARS FD site. Which apparently is
at a cemetery; that's a new one on me!

I got the 15 KW generator mounted in the horse trailer.
So it's time to move it over near the garage and fire
up the entire house with it and see how it likes running
the station AND air conditioning.

I passed our (Washington County) ARES/RACES FD site in the parking lot
of the EOC and it was a circus, what with the CERT group and the
Police Auxiliary having their own "activities" there and the Farmers
Market in full blast across the street. What a circus!

I'm staying home, out of the line of fire.
