Carl, microphones are frowned on in this newsgroup (microphone users
aren't worthy). It's all about CW and shooting bears here.

Carl, microphones are frowned on in this newsgroup (microphone users
aren't worthy). It's all about CW and shooting bears here.

And shooting the snit in a nice little private Chat Room for the
morsemen...where only one kind of amateur policy is allowed,
Theirs...but the tawk can venture forth into many and varied
definitely-not-amateur subjects. :-)

Concerning a proposal for a morse code exam only for operation in the CW subbands:

"A Morse Code Exam will be a disincentive to CW use."

But no comment that it has been a disincentive for over 30 years.
