!!! WARNING !!! K1MAN RADIO BROADCAST ON 3885AM/3975LSB/14.275USB ALL RADIO ENTHUSIAST, WHETHER YOUR A HAM OPERATOR OR SHORT-WAVE RADIO LISTENER, YOU SHOULD BE ADVISED ABOUT K1MAN, GLENN BAXTER, IARN/AARA. Don't be duped by this individual. Glenn Baxter's only interest in Ham Radio is to make a profit at your expense. He uses the Ham Radio Frequencies to advertise his organization, when in reality,he wants unsuspecting people to dial into his WEB Site so he can sell you his Bill-of-Goods! Why pay Glenn Baxter when the ARRL, (American Radio Relay League) will help you for free, and is a well known, established service, known for many years! When you get Glenn's info package, it is a classic PYRAMID SCHEME !!!! Broadcasting slamming the ARRL, defending personal issues, is not conducive to Ham Radio !!! Glenn Baxter has been on for 10 years; Ask yourself this, what has he done for Amateur Radio? K1MAN broadcast on the Ham Bands might sound legitimate, but don't get duped! There are many allegations about Glenn Baxter, and his organization, that warrant controversy, from him being a convicted Child Molester, to operating a Pirate Radio Station off the Coast. Glenn Baxter is using Ham Radio to fill his illusions of grandeur of having his own Radio Station, which in reality, is a garage operation. He is using a loop-hole in the FCC rules to continue on with this worthless broadcast that causes interference and dissension in the Amateur Radio Community. Talk Radio on Ham Bands, give us a break, Amateur Radio does not need this! Amateur Radio is a Hobby designed for two-way communications, not one-way. Don't let yourself get involved with this lying, ego idiot and his organization, which is designed to extort your money, and damage the reputation of Ham Radio. ALL GLENN BAXTER HAS IS A TRANSMITTER AND A BIG MOUTH ! This is not a SMEAR campaign as Glenn Baxter claims. NEWS LETTER gets the truth about someone who is destroying our wonderful Hobby because he has a grudge against the ARRL, and anyone who does not agree with his views on how Amateur Radio should be, according to Glenn Baxter. JUST BE AWARE ! Glenn Baxter's only concern is to get your Dollar! This is a business for IARN, Just see for yourself. AARN/AARA Does not represent the Majority of Ham Operators in the World ! SEE FOR YOURSELF, DIAL INTO HIS WEB SITE, CHECK IT OUT ! Also, Walter Cronkite, KB2GSD is not part of the IARN Organization It has been revealed to us Glenn Baxter references Walter Cronkite when fraudulently applying for Government Grants to make his organization look good so he can extort funds for his own personal use to keep his station on the air. IARN/AARA is not financially solvent and is on the brink of Bankruptcy. ** IARN/AARA is NOT recognized by CBS, ABC, BBC, or any other Net-work affiliation ** IARN: (I)t's (A)nother (R)adio (N)utcase !!! HOURS AHEAD, AND NOBODY CARES After you have received our Flyer, check it out, call Glenn Baxter at (207/495-2215) and let him know your heard from News Letter. You will be amazed of the response you will receive. As a matter of fact, since you are paying for this call, ask Glenn why he does not have an 800 number. Then call Walter Cronkite, 212-975-3627, and speak with Marline Adler. Ask her about Glenn Baxter and why he promos Walter on his WEB Site and Broadcast to further his credibility of his organization, and if Walter is a part of IARN/AARA. The Cronkite camp wants Glenn to stop. When you call Glenn, ask: 1. Who is his representative in Washington, DC to lobby for AARA/IARN? Also, what is his Dun & Bradstreet rating of his organization. (Watch Glenn waffle on that one) 2. Ask how many Radio Ham Clubs uses IARN as their Club Affiliate? Where are they, and who is the President of that particular Radio Club, and what is his/her call sign? Why doesn't he broadcast this information? 3. Which one of Glenn's Organizations is a Maine Corporation registered with the Secretary of State? Who are the Corporate Officers (besides his own family, if any)? Ask Glenn what really happen to him at Dayton? 4. Why doesn't IARN/AARA attend major Ham Fest in New England area? (Don't buy this bullcrap he doesn't have the time). What Ham Fest overseas does he attend? Why does Glenn pack a Gun these days? 5. How many Jump Teams does he have? Ask for a list of names of the Hundreds of personnel he can use in an International Disaster. (If you get 10 names, your lucky) News Letter knows what really happen during Hurricane Marilyn! 6. Besides his big mouth, ask Glenn what AARA/IARN has actually done for Ham Radio? (That should be a good one, you'll get an ear-full of bullcrap and dribble from that question) 7. Ask Glenn why he got fired from Collins Radio (Another good one, we know the truth) (Then ask about his days at Vermont Academy and why he was considered such a nerd!) 8. Why is Chris Murdock's call, WA1HOD, have the same QTH as K1MAN? See Callbook You will notice a cloy-babble, rhetoric, insipid reply (if any) from Glenn, and his usual crying and whining about all he is doing for Ham Radio, and the ARRL is so evil and bad for the common Ham Operator. Of course you will get this response that he doesn't have to give names and addresses of people that represent his organization (because he has none!). ARRL list the names in the front of their QST Magazine. Any legitimate Corporation makes the Names of their Officers & Sponsors open for public scrutiny. Just sit back and look what is going on here, Glen Baxter, K1MAN is a fraud. This Organization of his will never replace the ARRL, or even come close to representing the majority of Hams in the World. Just beware! After you talk to Glenn, if you have a Computer, check into his WEB Site, that is where the real BullCrap is. Watch your wallet! Glenn always brags on the air it doesn't cost (and the term he uses) dues, to join IARN; however, you have to pay 10 Bucks for a stupid T-Shirt, and $35.00 a year for a full membership to listen to this worthless Broadcast. WOW, Look at me, I are an AARA Member. Go to your local Ham Fest and wearing that T-Shirt, you'll be the toast-of-the- town! Do yourself a favor, get away from this idiot, talk to other Hams, enjoy the Hobby! The ARRL may not be perfect, and not for everybody, but at least it is a creditable organization that has been the backbone of Ham Radio for a long time, and is well known! HELP BEAUTIFY THE AIRWAVES, GET RID OF K1MAN ****************************** ****************************** ********** #42 THE MANCHESTER NEWS LETTER Aug 98 Newsletter Information Bulletin Service coming up in 3 minutes---------News Letter information bulletin service coming up in 2 minutes--------10 seconds---------This is News Letter, World Headquarters, reporting from Manchester, New Hampshire, man-kinds answer to get information out about our local raving lunatic, alleged Child Molester, noted pervert, general nuisance on the Ham Bands, Glenn Baxter, Chief honcho of IARN (It's Another Radio Nutcase), of a broadca$h, than any normal human being on the Planet Earth could just-care-less. So sit back, join the fun, read this edition of News Letter............ Week of 20 April 98: As you may of noticed, good old Glenn Baxter has stopped airing the full Names, addresses, phone numbers, of his callers that call his show. I guess the Warning Flyers we send out about AARA/IARN got the supreme irritant a little upset. I guess Glenn can't deal with the truth, and has to hide his callers so News Letter won't contact them. Gee Glenn, did we upset your programming, and World conquest of dominating Ham Radio with your bullcrap? Sorry, but it won't slow us down on getting info out to the public about your stupid, insipid, organization. Your creditability is shot! Too bad, Ha, Ha, Ha! We just thought of something, I bet it takes a lot more work to edit programming tapes, screen the callers, so Glenn-baby can get the correct information out on the air. Talk about hiding behind the microphone !!! Glenn's new format by editing personal information shows, again, IARN's level of Creditability. When you listen to these interviews, you can tell parts are being edited out. It was funny because the week of 27 April 98, Glenn was talking to a Ham from Worcester, MA and stated the majority of letters we receive are pro his broadcast. Boy, we know that's bullcrap. Here's the drill: Caller, what's your first name and location?. Glenn Baxter is so scared that News Letter is going to let someone know the truth, he can't stand it! Hey Glenn, next time you get an anonymous call, or letter, remember, you are now doing the same thing! Your are a fake, bullcrapper, and a worthless Scumbag. You readers ask yourself this. Glenn stated his Letters & Callers are 10 to 1 pro his broadcast, if that is so, why did Glenn discontinue giving out names and address of his callers??? The next thing you will notice, Glenn will probably have the same people call, (since he doesn't have to air their names), and brag how great IARN is. Just remember you saw this first here in News Letter. To confirm all this, call up yourself, see if Glenn will air you comments! Remember, IARN/AARA is not a talk-Radio show, and is not the first News Line broadcast service. HOSS-TRADERS HAM FEST: Rochester, NH weekend of 9, 10 May 1998 , I was not able to attend; however, several area local Hams went, and they said it was great. This is their report: Looks like most of the AM'ers were there. There was Tim, Pete, Dale, Dale, Eric, Jim, Jim, Bill, Bill, Bill, Jeff, Mark, Chuck, Dave, Carl, John, Kenny, Ken, Steve, Warren, Mike, Chris, the regular crew. There were several AM groups. Tim arrived in style with the Cadavilac, Dales was setup with his Military Gear, and Bill was set up in his Van with his Johnson Ranger. The Deer Meat was cooking, the Beer was flowing, the Cigars were glowing, all-in-all, everyone was having a good time. Nobody had any Flyers about K1MAN, but the conversations were still going around about the supreme irritant. I was told the real story about KA1OGM and his dealings with Glenn *******, and got more info on other Hams in dealing with the alleged Child Molester. Everybody was still talking about the Ice Storm that hit this year and the fact Glenn ******* did nothing, and his broadcast was still a nuisance to the AM community. Disappointing with the Equipment at Rochester, it seems these Ham Fest are getting more junk than the good-old stuff we used to see years ago. Also, the big news I heard, it did not rain at Rochester. Boy, of all the ones to miss, every time I have gone in the past, it has rained. The personal reports I heard, and was to ask: How much did Carl Drink? Who took the Picture of the AM Gang? (we want a copy). Who wore the ugliest Hat? What Car had the biggest Bug Catcher? Who Plays the best guitar music? (was Jimmy Hendrics really there?), What Clown??? Must of been fun, we'll be there in the Fall. Since I was leaving for Dayton, I could not attend Hoss Traders this Spring, excuse if this report is not accurate, all this info was second hand, but my sources are pretty accurate! Thanks guys, great job. You can check in on Steve, WB3HUZ, Web Site for further info, pictures on this, and other past Ham Fests. By the way, if you love the AM Mode, this WEB Site is great along with WA1SOV. That reminds me, whatever happen to Jerome Prestal, KA9BSD, (News Letter #22) WEB Site? He use to have a segment on Glenn until he got threatened by the supreme irritant. Its time to start surfing the WEB again and see what's going on! (2) DAYTON HAMVENTION: Week end of 15 May 98. What a Zoo! This Ham Fest is too big, but we had a great time and the WX was good and hot. It was definitely not one to miss. Prices were ridiculous, food was greasy, but I'm glad we went. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, visited Kettering Tower (great view), attended the QCWA Dinner at Alex's Restaurant, Watched the SSTV Seminar at the Ramada Inn, took in the AM Forum at the Hara Arena, and watched Ronnie Milstrap Concert. Also, Ronnie, WB4KCG, is an did a great Job as a guest speaker at the Banquet (note: Ronnie gets News Letter). If you think Glenn ******* did good, don't be duped by his broadca$h, the guy was the laughing stock of Dayton. You can't believe the crap Glenn Baxter was pouring out, and I am truly amazed Glenn could ever show his face in public at Dayton ever again. First of all, I personally never saw Glenn, (who was the idiot manning his booth?), and many, many, people were looking for him, and I can't tell you how many ARRL members I saw went by his booth laughing at this idiot. Here is some of the scoop, what I could tell. Glenn had a lot of people go by his booth, but more than half did not agree with his organization, and people we saw later on, and questioned, thought he was a garrulous idiot, and just listened to him pontificate to be polite. Most of his literature went into the garbage. Hey Glenn, I was standing about five from a guy that was ready to punch-your-lights-out while coming out of the building! I had to laugh at the Wall Street Article concerning IARN. Also, there is a rumor going around that Walter Cronkite is suing Glenn Baxter due to Glenn using his picture on his WEB Site, is this true? Can someone confirm this, and for how much?. Hey Glenn, will CBS, AP, & BBC, or NEWSLINE get that info? We also heard another rumor there was a representative from the Cronkite camp secretly checking up on Glenn to see if he used Walters name and credentials to further IARN credibility. Also, who is the individual Ham that is sueing Glenn? Oh, many of the Vendors we had sent Flyers to were aware of the situation with IARN and Glenn Baxter. One Vendor was passing our info to people stopping by his booth. THAT WAS GREAT, Here I am the Editor, and some complete stranger hands me our flyer. Boy, did that make my day. I wanted to take pictures of the supreme irritant, but I never saw the four eyed weasel himself (was he hiding?). The ARRL had many functions going on, and I'll tell you one thing, Glenn Baxter AARA/IARN will never replace the ARRL. Oh, Oh, Another item. We were given a Letter, or Flyer, I guess it is what Glenn sends out to people that call his show, or addresses he sometimes gets, but this Flyer was a hoot. There was a Paragraph about News Letter, and Glenn telling everyone it's a Felony, and to send your copies to the FBI, Blah, Blah, Blah, and of course the same old rhetoric about how the ARRL is going out-of-business, and he will replace it in 5 years, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha. I thought my spelling and format was basic, Glenn's (so-called) News Letter is like a first grader's weekly reader! Glenn must be using Window's Write as his word-processor, and a Radio Shack Dot Matrix printer. You know, after seeing what the ARRL can do at Dayton, comparing the nobody- nothing IARN/AARA really is, Baxter is finished. Glenn, tell us about the problems you are having with Hotel Security, are you packing these days? What is the story dealing with the Maine District Courts? Can you file anymore frivolous Law Suites? What info does the Dayton Police Department have on you, and what do the State COPS think of you in Maine? By the way, how are you and Walter getting along lately? Did you subscription to Stern Magazine expire? I saw Tim, WA1HLR , Dale, KW1I , and Bill wondering around, Tim, did you see Glenn and did he interview you? and how do you like your MFJ Antenna Analyzer? The place was so packed, my Mother could of been in the next booth, and I wouldn't of see her. The AM Forum had over 70 participants (very interesting). To wrap this up, Glenn ******* made a complete fool of himself. News Letter did a great job on getting info out, and to all you Hams out there that inquired about News Letter, there is no way we accommodate everyone that wants to be on the Mailing list, so our best obtain is the INTERNET, so please pass News Letter around to all, and rest assured, we will continue to get the word out about Glenn *******, who I feel is going to crack-up under the strain of being the most hated Amateur Operator of all times !!! Hey Glenn, take your medication, get shock treatment, and stay home, and do the Amateur Radio Community a favor, get off the air, forget your delusion of conquering Ham Radio with you insipid ideas, get a life. You will never replace the ARRL, and once people realize you really can't do anything for Ham Radio, they will turn on you and your stupid organization. Dayton finished you! Unfortunately we did not buy anything big, but did find allot of parts while looking around in the vast bone yard. Cars were packed in like Sardines. I left Sunday afternoon to drive back to New Hampshire to be at work that following Tuesday, it was a looooong trip, but all-in-all, I had a great time. Who bought the Gates Transmitter that was there? I heard it was purchase by someone in Massachusetts? Oh Well, next time! For Pictures of Dayton Hamvention, be sure to check into K8CX Web Site, He does a great job showing Dayton Hamvention. Our thanks to the ARRL for making such a great event fun, the true spirit of Ham Radio was representative at Dayton. By next year News Letter hopes to have a booth set-up (under a different name). Glenn, watch out! We might be right next to you, please use some deodorant and mouth wash, and make yourself visible. I can't believe we never once saw you, were you there, or just had somebody represent your organization? How were you greeted at the reception booth? We know officials got our Flyers! A recent update, I just got off the internet with some of my email buddies, and they claimed they never saw Glenn ******* at Dayton either. Man I wonder, was the supreme irritant even there? You know, we haven't heard any recorded interviews on Glenn's broadca$h either. Did something happen we don't know about? Something weird is going on at AARA/IARN ! I think Glenn knows he's finished, and is keeping a low profile. INTERESTING CONVERSATION: While at Dayton, I ran into a person that is associated with FEMA & MEMA. He was one of the crew that was sent to Maine to help out during the big Ice Storm that hit New England back in January. He was coordinating information and communications with FEMA, as well as the Red Cross, CAP, RACES, MARS, and volunteer groups going from town to town, house to house, to assess damage. He knows of Glenn ******* and advised us that Glenn's Group never once contacted any agency to help out, and if he did, he wasn't welcome. It seems that Glenn's bashing of several groups in the past has left a bad taste concerning his organization. It was also revealed to us that Glenn has no local help or volunteers that are willing to help out on any type of disaster representing AARA/IARN. Also, (and this was interesting), there have been a lot of Police Reports on Glenn, and problems he as had with Hams in the past. Boy, Glenn has a trail of problems for a long time. It just goes to show you, and this confirms, Glenn's organization is nothing, and he will never be a creditable entity to represent Hams anywhere!. The funny thing about all this, and truly, we are not trying to be biased, after talking to many people, I have yet to run into someone that approves of Glenn's Broadcast. I have heard people state they would like to see the ARRL change, and it would be nice to have another organization represent Hams, but AARA/IARN will not be that entity. Glenn ******* went about it the wrong way, too much bullcrap and arrogance! This same individual also stated he believes Glenn is dangerous, and for people to watch out if they happen to run into Glenn. He is mentally unbalanced and is on the verge of a Mental Breakdown. Man, do we ever know that !!! The guy is nuts. You know, look what is going on here. People that once knew Glenn, or even called him a friend, now believe he has gone over the edge! Hey Tim, WA1HLR, do you agree with this? When was the last time you talked to Glenn? Has he really cracked?? WHAT EVER HAPPEN to Glenn's caller of the week? News Letter issue #31, special Edition Nov 97, Glenn had stated he was going to have a caller of the week. It was also going to be News letter Wacko of the Month. Another programming fantod? Glenn can't make up his mind. I can hear it now, uhhhh, Bonnie, do I get the rubber doll, or go to the closet? How many more changes are we going to see? Glenn's programming consist mainly of News Line, ARRL, Rain Bulletins, few callers (now with no full names and address, call signs), but still the constant praising of himself and his stupid organization. Glenn keeps this constant rhetoric that the ARRL will financially go under in five years. I think he has got his brain wires crossed-up, I believe it will be AARA/IARN that will financially fail, and based on what we know here at News Letter, it won't be long. Funds are running short up there in the Fortress of Solitude !!! NEW TACTIC FOR INFORMATION: Since Glenn has stopped giving Names & Ham Call signs of people calling his show, we are going to take another approach for getting info out. After each weeks broadcast, we are going to randomly select 10 Hams from each State, send a NEW type of Warning Flyer with the latest, or current, issue of News Letter. Some of my Staff has recommended we get AMATEUR CLUB CALL SIGNS, look them up in the latest Call Book, and Blanket each State so they will get our information package. What a great idea! As you realize, Clubs out there will pass the info along, and more & more Hams will get this info. I'm surprised I haven't thought of this in the past. This idea, along with several members putting News Letter out on an E-Mail list, has really spread the word about K1MAN, IARN/AARA. The ones we will miss targeting info will be the Shortwave Radio Listeners (because they just don't know any better), but we feel once they get involved with AARA/IARN, and get into the real world of Ham Radio, they will realize what's going on. Speaking of Ham Clubs, is there any Club out there that's uses AARA/IARN as their affiliate? Come on Glenn, since your so popular, give us (at least) one Club that represents your organization! What's the matter, are you afraid, or just a lying ego, four eyed weasel, that is nothing but a big bullcrapper??? I didn't see any Clubs for AARA at Dayton! As a matter of fact, there is not one Ham Publication that ever mentions IARN/AARA! PAST TAPES: All this reminds me of one of the Tapes I listened to (as you past readers know, we have about 200 hours of past tapes of Glenns programming). This one tape, about 1995, the guy that called was a pro Golfer that was just getting started in Ham Radio. He was talking about 2 meters, and how important Golfing was to his career, but he was able to find time for Ham Radio, be a Golf Pro, and teach the game to young kids (get this): Then Glenn comes back with this stupid statement, I am the head of an International Radio Organization, that is much more important than playing Golf. Then a brief silence, then Glenn went on-and-on about how great he is, etc., etc., etc., and how he heads up IARN/AARA and is know all over the World (you know the drill). It's the same old stuff! Glenn could care less what you do, or what your interest are. It's just another method he can use to get on his soap box on how great he, and IARN is. I guess those days are over. Either Glenn is too afraid of News Letter, or the FCC put a stop to his method. You know, it seems to me that in one of the earlier News Letters, we advised Glenn his broadcast would not be so bad if all he did was the News Line Bulletins, and stop all this personal garbage he airs. Maybe Glenn has seen the light here, you think? Is this a first step? I'll tell you this, if Glenn could cut back on the broadcast time wise, stop these insipid analogies of the ARRL, and everyone else who disagrees with him, tell the truth, admit he has been wrong in the past, give a public apology for deceiving everybody about his organization, maybe then, Hams will forget/forgive, and can start on a fair level playing ground. Also, Glenn has to stop using Walter Cronkites promo ID, Walter has worked too long and hard to obtain the reputation he has, and Glenn knows Walter does not want him to use his name, or picture, with his organization. Come on Glenn, can you do all this? Get with the program. Nobody cares if you want to start another organization to replace the ARRL, but get real here. The ARRL will never be replaced, but there is no reason someone could not start up another group. You, will not be this person the way you are going now. You cannot cut people down and expect them to side with your views under the threat of being persecuted by you insipid dialog. Lets face it Glenn, you are AARA/IARN, nobody else, no Board of Directors, no tax exempt group, no Corporation under the Secretary of State, no lobby group in Washington DC, no hundreds of people, just you, yourself, and ego. If you died today, no one else would take your place. So why not admit this, get organized, tell the truth, and come back to the Human Race. Stop this stupid vendetta against the ARRL (because you will never win). Only an insane person would continue on the way you are doing now. We were just trying to help, but I think your too far gone !!! 50 YEARS OF CBS: Wednesday, May 20th, 1998, there was a special TV program on 50 years of programming of CBS. The interesting attribute was on Walter Cronkite, KB2GSD, and how he was the icon for CBS News. It took a career and lifetime for Walter to do what he did, and it irritates us Glenn ******* plagiarizes this individual to further his creditability for AARA/IARN. Glenn ******* is a pathetic individual, and a real lo-life scumbag for doing this. It is up to all of us to save the reputation of Walter Cronkite and let everybody know Walter is not part of AARA/IARN and wants nothing to do with same! It is important that all Hams write to Walter Cronkite and air their opinion about Glenn ******* !!! WEEK OF 25 MAY 98: Glenn started giving out names of callers. We have noticed this pattern over the years. Right before Dayton, Glenn cleans up his act. Right after Dayton, he starts back his usual insipid programming, stupid editorials, and Worthless Boring Dribble, to run his program out of time! Regardless of his tactics, News Letter will continue on to get info out. Also, we noticed this year, at Dayton Hamvention, Glen did not pre-record people, or interview anyone to replay back on his future broadcast. In the past, Glenn usually used three weeks of boring dribble recordings. Since we did not see Glenn at Dayton, it's possible he didn't show his face, or he was put in his place. Believe me, nobody we talked to at Dayton supported IARN/AARA, or even knew what his organization was. Glenn did not do well !!! Week of June 29th, Glen did nothing but News Line Broadcast and stupid promos. Hey Glen, do you get PMS? WHINER AWARD: Goes to Kevin Rose, KA1FTW. Another Bozo that thinks he knows all about Ham Radio. Week of 6/9/98, Kevin's stupid Letter to Glenn show what an idiot this hobby produces. These people must be the biggest bunch of Nerds on the face-of-the-planet. Of course you realize who Kevin Calls. Another Whiner goes to Pete, WZ2X, again, for his insipid email to Glenn. I think Glenn, Pete, and Kevin should all move to Hawaii and get married. Then all-for-one, one-for-all, can dominate Ham Radio! Oh, and I forgot to mention W. Continelli, W2XOY, Boo whooo, Snif-snif, whaaaaaaa, the ARRL is not welcome out here in western New York. Just a bunch of mean-old men, and I am developing a trauma. Guys, get a life !!!!! If you want to help Ham Radio, Lobby with the ARRL & FCC for changes! Do any of you idiots that call Glenn actually think Glenn is going to change Ham Radio? What has Glenn done, what has he accomplished, what has he contributed to this hobby? NOTHING but a worthless, boring, broadcast that has no value to anyone but Glenn *******. His illusions-of-grandeur of having his own Radio Station! Gee, look at me. My name is Glenn *******, God like figure to Ham Radio, aren't I cool? Please send me money so I can keep my worthless, boring, dribble to my 3 fans (wife, Chris Murdock, and his hand). W2CE, Robert Reed (week 7/6/98). This guy gives handicap Hams a bad name. I used to be a VE, and believe me, handicap Hams get a fair shake. Nobody is labeling, or attacking, handicap individuals as an inferior class of people. This guy wants something for nothing. Go buy a CB Radio and stop complaining! WORTHLESS-BORING-DRIBBLE AWARD: Goes to Allen Hattsfield, Milton Florida. Another idiot, who is not even a Ham Operator, thinks he has all the answers. Your typical CB operator that is too stupid to pass a Ham Test, then blames it on the ARRL. Gee Glen, the test is so hard, and I can't do CW! Ham License should be like CB Radio License, there should be none! No test, just get on-the-air. The FCC needs to expand the CB 11 meter band, and I know many Hams that have turned in their license (yea right). I got to admit one thing, Glenn did not agree with this Bozo, but wasting all this air time on this nonsense is pathetic! How come after the Dayton Hamvention Glenn didn't get any recordings? I thought for sure we would be listening to a months worth of taped dribble-crap on how great Glenn did at Dayton. ATTA-BOY AWARDS: None this quarter. Glenn is too Chicken-Sh.. to air the truth. The Hallmark of Glenn's organization is falling apart, and everyone is starting to see this. Smoking mirrors here, right? PROMOS: I don't know about you, but I am getting sick and tired of the same ole stuff. Glenn needs to get some new promos to ID his station. The Hams he uses are the same old nerds we have listened too over the past few years. Of Course we don't consider Walter Cronkite a nerd, it amazes us he has the gall to continuously use his voice when he has been asked to stop. I think we need WA1HLR to give an ID, HiHi. BERRY GOLDWATER, K7UGA. 5/29/98, A great Ham has passed away. I had the privilege to work Berry many years ago and was even more thrilled to receive a QSL Card from him. This was an individual that Hams can look up to and be proud of. A great testimonial to Ham Radio. It just goes to show you there are many individuals out there that truly make a difference in the world. Berry Goldwater will be missed. Lets just hope Glenn ******* does not exploit the late Berry Goldwater for his own personal use for his stupid organization! He has already tricked Walter Cronkite, who is next? What a pathetic liar ! GIVE GLENN A TAMBOURINE AND BOX OF KLEENEX. Week of 7/13/98. Well, if there is a controversy, Glenn ******* will be the head-honcho to led the pack of crying wackos on the march. What amazes me is, these leftist people, hams, write to AARA/IARN to gripe about problems with the ARRL instead of taking it to the source, the ARRL. WHAT CAN AARA/IARN DO??? N-O-T-H-I-N-G ! ! ! This is the proposed Voluntary Band Plan the ARRL is trying to submit to the FCC. Glenn broadcast some comments by KF7VY, Ed Mitchell, N6NB, Wayne Overbeck, & WA6VSE, Carl Stevenson. As I can understand their concern, writing to Glenn Baxter is a waste-of-time, because the FCC, and ARRL, do not take IARN/AARA seriously. Who Does??? Here is my take on this Voluntary Band Plan. Amateur Radio has changed over the last 50 years with the advances of new technology, and more Hams coming on to the spectrum. The one nice thing about this hobby is, there is something for everybody. There has to be a Band Plan because if you don't have this in-place, somebody can run HF Packet right on top of K1MAN's Broadcast on 3890KHz/AM. (Of course, we here at News Letter would not mind that); however, with all the new modes out there, we need to have a Band Plan in effect so the Side-Banders can have their slot, the AM'ers can have there slot, the APRS can have their spot, CW operators can have their slot, and so-on and so-on. A gentlemen's agreement is fine, but as you know, there is always the idiot that will run USB on the AM window, or FM simplex on a Packet window. There needs to be a band plan in-place to insure harmony on the overcrowded spectrum we already have! To all you Hams out there that think you can write to IARN/AARA to accomplish anything, direct your energy to an entity that can really make a difference. This controversy just gives Glenn another soapbox derby to further give his organization creditably when there's no creditability to begin with! The finest, Blah, Blah, Blah, (go barf!) WEEK OF 7/20/98: We here at News Letter were impressed with KJ7FC, Beth Harris, for her outstanding ability as a young Ham on her attributes towards Ham Radio, and her thoughts about the ARRL, meeting people in the community and overseas, teaching other young people about Ham Radio. It is nice to see that someone can use this hobby for what it was intended for, and not use it as a political tool to further their own cause (like someone we know, right Glenn?). This same week, there was a piece on KC9RP, Hap Holly, about his life and his involvement with Ham Radio. We were very moved by this, and it just goes to show you there are true individuals out there that can represent this Hobby, and show the real worth on what Ham Radio is all about. Individuals mentioned above will keep this hobby going, and it makes me proud to be a Ham Operator. Hopefully, idiots like Glenn Baxter are few and in-between! LATE BREAKING INFO: 7/20/98. What happen to Glenn at Dayton? We have some juicy information we just received on the supreme irritant. See next addition of News Letter for info. Also, have you noticed Glenn does not give any more editorials on his programming? How come Glenn? Does this tie in on the information we just received? Why aren't you giving out callers names, etc? Why do you keep airing Walter Cronkites promo when the Cronkite camp has asked you to stop? How come you don't have any new Hams give out a promo with their callsign? Did you have an unwelcome visit? Worked anymore International Emergencies lately? Face it Glenn, Hams have got your number and know the truth !!! Also, does anyone know about 2 video tapes going around on Dayton and Rochester? We want a copy ! Also, it has just been brought to our attention, the Rochester Ham Fest is going to be seen on Channel 5, in Boston, on a local program called Chronicle. We do not have the info when this is going to be aired, or if it has already been aired at the time of this publication. One of my staff members told us they were filming. We do know that the Dayton Hamvention was on local area News in the Dayton, Cleveland, Ohio area. Did any of our readers see this? How come Glenn ******* didn't get on a TV News Broadcast?, Isn't AARA/IARN recognized by CBS?, Uhhhhh, Helllwoooo, my name is Glenn *******, I are intellergent ! HEY GLEN, We didn't bite, better luck next time. Your really an idiot if you though we would fall for that one, nice try. Oh, and by the way, we know! You know what we're talking about, you Bozo! EDITORIAL You know, It has been about three years now since News Letter has been on this campaign to get info out on Glenn Baxter. We have heard allot of crap from Glenn Baxter over the years, and his thrust to trash the ARRL is getting old, and the constant rhetoric about what he can do for Amateur Radio is a Joke at best. The main problem of Glenn Baxter is his Broadcast itself. Amateur Radio does not need this. Amateur Radio was designed for two-way transmissions, not one-way. Whether it is the ARRL, or K1MAN, these so-called bulletin services are not necessary on the Ham Bands. Glenn Baxter uses the argument: if it's Ham Radio related, why not transmit on the Ham Bands? This is a stupid analogy! The Ham Bands are crowded enough without some yo yo broadcasting, causing interference to people that want to use the hobby for what it was intended for. Glenn will then state: Well, the ARRL does it. That's right, the ARRL does broadcast, but for education purposes only. CW Practice, propagation reports, etc., and they don't do it 18 hours a day, and slam other organizations, makes threats to Hams, or force their way of thinking to Amateurs that have different opinions. Talk Radio, give me a break! This is total nonsense. It would be one thing if Glenn was really doing this for the betterment of Ham Radio, but he's not. Glenn Baxter has a grudge against the ARRL and he will say, or do, anything to discredit that organization to further his own cause. Glenn also hates the AM'ers, because this particular group has been battling Glenn for the frequency space he trashes when his broadcast is on the air. His modulation is distorted, his frequency is too wide, and his switchover timer is not correct. Glenn purposely transmits on the AM Window to make the AM community mad because of all the heckling he has gotten over the years. This is not conducive to good engineering practices, and Glenn forcing his personal views, under this so called bulletin service, is not beneficial to Ham Radio, or even Ham Radio related. Comparing the ARRL to Hitler, Stalen, Communist Russia, making a Ham Operator publicly apologizing over the air, airing a bounty on a publication, is not in the best interest of this hobby and it should be stopped !!! This is a MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY FOR GLENN BAXTER! Just dial into Glenn's Web Site and see for yourself. He is doing the same thing the ARRL is doing, and he is a hypocrite when he says anything different!. The Hams Bands are nothing but a media to advertise his Web Site to make money! Plus, use it as a political tool to further his cause ! Glenn Baxter keeps telling everybody his survey results 10 to 1 pro his organization. This is not true, and Glenn knows this. He is using the technique like a legion. You know, if you keep repeating a statement, or rumor, one day it becomes true. This is Glenn's method on making his organization look good, when in reality, the results are probably 50 to 1 against his organization. I'll tell you this, and I mean this, in over three years I have not found even one person, or organization, that supports IARN/AARA. Most of the Hams at Dayton that showed an interest in his organization were either new Hams, or Short-wave Radio Listeners that are not familiar with the hobby. Can't you just see Glenn foam-at-the-mouth when someone ask him about his organization? Dollar signs appear in his eyeballs, and his mouth starts to tremble!. You just have to laugh when Glenn claims he gets over 400 applications per week to join his stupid organization. This guys is a sick puppy. Remember when Glenn stated he had over 140 thousand listeners as a result of an independent survey? Of course Glenn never stated who did this survey, and when. You old time readers of News Letter have seen me say this over, and over, and over. There is know change, and I have more important things to do with my life then to wonder about the antics of a raving lunatic; i.e., Glenn *******. Over the next few months, we are going to make a decision whether to continue to distribute News Letter individually. The actual writing of this publication takes no time at all, but the distributing of it is long, and takes time. If it was not for my staff, I could not do this alone. We are going to seek out individuals (such as K1IV), that have extensive E-Mailing lists, and INTERNET access to get our publication out. Glenn cannot file suite on the truth, and mailing a Flyer, or publication, is not against the Law because we are not seeking any monitary funds from this. All allegations on Glenn Baxter can be backed up, and he has no legal grounds to stand on. He might cry, and whine, about how News Letter is ruining his reputation, but this is not true. Glenn's own mouth is ruining his character and his organization. Its slander when Glenn's hears anybody talk bad about himself, but its okay for him to trash ARRL, and everybody else, when they don't conform to his way of thinking. A double-standard here. A Class individual, or organization, does not bad-mouth the other guy. Who ever said I was a class act? I don't mind getting on Glenn's level, because it exposes this idiot and his organization for what it really is! Glenn Baxter has lost many supporters, friends, and I suspect family before too long. What I am hearing from sources that know Glenn, he is on the verge of a mental collapse. His finances are stretched, and if it is a fact that Walter Cronkite is suing AARA/IARN, Glenn Baxter will be financially ruined, and his organization will be finished. I seriously doubt someone else will step in and continue on with this bullcrap! The sad thing is, Glenn could of really started something here, I think allot of people would like to see another organization like the ARRL. Competition is good; however, Glenn won't be that entity! Anyways, we shall see. We are not too sure when the next issue of News Letter will be. I will be taking many trips this summer, and I am planning to go out and see my daughter who just moved to the San Francisco area. I have received many tips on Hams that want to put News Letter out, but I realize allot of Hams are not on the NET, and many do not even have a computer. My Staff is thinking up new ways to get info out, and I get more volunteers every week. I think it's funny Glenn's stupid Reward did not phase anybody, because most normal people know he will never be able to pay-out (plus the fact all my Staff think what we are doing is great). Many Hams I talk too enjoy the rag. I guess the people that hate News Letter are Glenn, and the Whiner Award winners. I guess we can't please everybody. There won't be much to report on if Glenn keeps his programming the way it is (I think this is Glenn's way of fighting back). That's fine with us because it was our intention for Glenn to change his programming. News Letter accomplished a major victory doing this. I think it's great that we don't have to listen some insipid editorial by Glenn Baxter, or listen to some stupid Ham talk about his shoe-laces. It must be heart breaking for Glenn not to be able to air the names and addresses of his callers. Now that we know he is editing all calls, his creditability is ruined. We won anyway you look at it. Whether Glenn will ever take his broadcast off-the-air, or not, is something we will have to wait. The day K1MAN is shut down will be the biggest celebration of Hams in the World. Hopefully, one day, the FCC will step in and do same. Glenn is on the edge of Part 97-111B6, I am amazed Glenn gets away with what he does. If you ever get a chance to read these rules and regulations, read the whole chapter and tell me K1MAN is not violating FCC Regulations. Have a good Summer for all, next publication should be in October or November. Just say NO to IARN! IARN: (I)t's (A)nother (R)adio (N)utcase, Hours ahead and nobody cares !!! YOUR LISTENING TO IT NOW, This is NEWS LETTER, signing off HELP BEAUTIFY THE AIRWAVES.................. GET RID OF K1MAN !!!! |
