Apalled

As a ham operator for over 50 years, I am apalled at the lack of
civility in this newsgroup. It's a shame there can't be serious
discussions of radio.amateur.policy without resorting to the "lowest
common denominator" rhetoric.

Well Jim ...welcome to the group ...... you can read and delete and respond
without the "common denominator". There are those whose posts I just ignore
and those who I routinely read. The bum society is here ...there and
everywhere ....

I know what you mean. You'd think this newsgroup would have become
more civil after Dick Caroll kicked the bucket, but that just wasn't
the case.

Hello Jim.

Nice of you to jump in and start off your first comments to the
group about "lowest common denominator" rather than initiating one of
those "serious discussions or radio.amateur.policy" that you were
suggesting.

Pick a topic...let it fly.

Sorry, Jim, but you seem to be lost. Rec.Radio.Amateur.Policy is two doors down
the hall on your right. This room is reserved for the "Steve and His Old Friend
****storm".
