I'll second that. Interesting pieces, not so hot photos, but reasonable
quality for the purpose (not particularly compromised by the compression).

Other posters: take note, please. Even on DSL, some of the shots posted
here can take minutes to download. News feeds (at least mine) are
generally not as fast as the web.

Of course, if the subject warrants the detail, by all means post as big
a file as it takes.

Ya .. thanks Buck . Also my computer wont receive usenet . When i view
pictures from my webtv on my computer they are smeary looking but i can
see very well enough what the object is .

The tuner has 8 tubes ( no amp here ) 5 are octal including a 6X5 , 3
are loctal ( like Philco )
It was home built and nicely done but the guy was i bit light on solder
and left a few loose screws for ground lugs , one resistor lead was
disconected ( fell away from its solder ) causing it to be dead ..after
fixing that and aligning the 108 end over where it belongs it actually
receives very well However it has low output . It appears to have not
been used much if at all .

Ken,
Perhaps some one will send you an old unused computer that still works with
internet, if you ask, if you want?
