Believe it or not, at work, because of a move of premises (around 1988),
we threw out an AVO valve tester. Although it was against my religion,
even I couldn't justify keeping it, and I was afraid of what the wife
would say if I took home yet another tasty 'piece of junk'. But, I must
admit, I haven't really missed it much. Maybe she was right.
