Default 1935 Silvertone console

since John Hagstar is restoring one of these right now I thought I'd post
pix of the one I did a few years ago and sold. This is another example of
the fantastic "Moderne" styling some of the Silvertone sets had.
This is a 14 tube (top of the line in '35) console model 1831. Note it has
a midrange speaker as well, positioned at an upward angle. I forget what
the 5th control did on this one. I had the cabinet professionally
refinished in grain filled laquer, and it turned out fantastic. This set
has a tuning shadow meter.
