Stewart-Warner Model 300 (first group of pics)
Hear's another piece I had hidden in my terminally messy shop. I have
recieved orders to make a front hall closet for my daughter, and so I first needed to go on a Historical geological mission to the deepest darkest part of my workshop to see if I still had the tools to do it. I say Historical, since a full and complete exploration has not been done in at least ten years, and geological because of the "layered" manner in which I put things away in the shop, which makes anything short of almost completely emptying it pretyy well useless activity. And so I dug. And I came across this radio. I find it pretty, for its era. Desparately needs a cleanup, which I will do this weekend. In poking around it I found a hand-written note inside date 1967, stating that it was "in working order". Thoughtfully, some basici specs were included. I was gifted this by a gentleman that lives nearby to me, here in Aurora, Ontario, and I cannot find where I noted his name and phone number. Sir, if you still read this group (RAR+P and ABPR), I would appreciate if you would contact me off-group. |
