Ah... Loudness-control thingies. (I forget what that
ceramic-thing-with-capacitors-and-resistors-on-it is called.)

A printed circuit. Seriously. Most I've seen were made by Centralab,
I believe. I've had to use descrete parts to do repairs on damaged
modules.

Used to be called circuit integrators (not to be confused with integrated
circuits)
