Have someone schema for this radio? Don't know. I can't decode the post. What is a schema? Is it shown on any of the circuit diagrams here? http://www.sterkrader-radio-museum.d...e.ve301dyn.htm http://www.vintageradio.nl/Schema%27s/VE301Dyn.gif |

I can't decode that post either, but you can find the VE 301 Dyn schematic
in my article about the radio. http://antiqueradio.org/VolksempfaengerVE301dyn.htm If you want to post a picture in a binaries group, use a more accessible format such as .JPG or .GIF. Regards, Phil Nelson Phil's Old Radios http://antiqueradio.org/index.html |

Uh, Phil, it IS a jpg, both of them are. The problem is that he used ynec encoding to post it with. Oddly enough, Firefox dealt with it automatically. Right out of the box so to speak. No add ons, or dicking around to make it work. And to Piotr, welcome to usenet. You might try posting any additional questions over on rec.antiques.radio+phono. One of our regulars is named Jiri Placek and I believe he has a couple of those VE301 radios. Jeff |

Tube on the right reminds me of Darth Vader....
Or a tiny robo-warrior wearing a helmet :-) When I bought mine, the idiot seller mispacked it and the two other tubes in back were destroyed. It cost a small fortune to find replacements in Europe. On my set, the metallic shielding on the rightmost tube is colored gold, not silver. Incidentally, that stacked-looking thingie next to the OP's silver Darth tube should not be floating around loose at the end of very thin red wires. No idea what's going on there, but it sure doesn't look "factory." Phil Nelson |

Xnews will automatically decode yenk (wank) but you have to wait for it to download and decode then look for it in the downloads folder. Xnews isn't an installed program - you just run it from the folder you saved it in, but yenk (wank) is such a PITA that most people won't bother. |
