The package in the images contained a Heathkit DX-40. A thin layer of
carpet padding wrapped the radio which was the wrapped with cardboard
and finally the better part of a roll of packing tape. Amazingly
enough the only damage was a broken crystal switch.

Who was the carrier? Ken

Noting from the pic, there are Parcel Post stamps on the package, and a USPS
scan label.

Well bless their hearts for being careful with it. UPS would have
trashed it.Ken

Funny thing, UPS doesn't trash stuff that's properly packaged.
