Bearcat 300 'C-98' Issue
Does anyone have any tips/directions on how to identify, and change the C-98
Capacitor in the Bearcat 300? Mine has all the classic symptoms (low display and can't program a frequency). I have little experience repairing radios, and it's not clear where to find C-98 in the radio, to replace it. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Denny |

Just a wild guess - low display would seem to be a power supply problem, so I'd look in that area. If it's an electrolytic (it probably is), the value would be marked in English. |
