why is a legal antenna all of a sudden illegal just because youchanged the station on your radio???

Why is an antenna on a Grundig YB 400PE radio that is legal and not
against hoa rules all of a sudden an illlegal antenna against hoa
rules just because you changed the station on your radio?

In other words, what makes it all of a sudden become " a ham antenna"
or "a cb antenna" just because you changed the station from a fm
broadcast station or an am broadcast station to a ham station or cb
station?

It's the same frickin' antenna on the same frickin' radio.

If it's a ham antenna or cb antenna when it's tuned to a ham or cb
station, then it's a ham antenna when it's tuned to a am/fm broadcast
station and not to a ham or cb station.

If it's not a ham antenna or cb antenna when tuned to an am/fm
broadcast station, then it's not a ham antenna or cb antenna when
tuned to a ham or cb station.

It's the SAME friuckin' antenna on the SAME frickin' radio.

How about when it's tuned to a frequency which picks up both
broadcasts and hams at the same time.

you pro-hoa nazis say there's no such thing and never was.

Well, you're wrong as usual. Part of the 7 mhz band used to be used by
both broadcasters and hams, and still is from what I hear on it,
although it's not supposed to be being used by broadcasters anymore.

The SAME frequency was sometimes a broadcaster, then later a ham radio
operator in the SAME night and vice versa. And sometimes it was both
a broadcaster and ham radio operator at the EXACT SAME TIME.

So what it is it then, a legal broadcast antenna allowed by hoas or an
illegal ham radio antenna not allowed by hoas???

I don't understand this new radio theory that the EXACT SAME FRICKIN
antenna on the EXACT SAME FRICKIN radio is a legal antenna nott
against hoa rules and not a ham antenna when tuned to an am/fm/sw
broadcast station all of a sudden becomes an illegal ham antenna when
the tuning knob on the radio is turned from 1100 khz to 28700 khz and
becomes an illegal cb antenna when the tuning knob on the radio is
tuned to 27185 khz.

Why don't you list it in your rules then that homeowners are not
allowed to tune their indoor portable radios to anywhere on the dial
the radio can cover, but only to the stations.the hoa says the
residents are allowed to tune to?

Oh and since you'tre doing that anyways, why not add a clause that
also says which broadcast tv stations the residents are and are not
allowed to watch inside the privacy of their own homes???

And which cable tv stations the hoa residents are and are not allowed
to watch inside the privacy of their own homes???

You hoas are against everything the founding fathers of this country
stood for and everything this country stood for and is supposed to
still stand for.

All you hoas should be outlawed permanently.

Regarding the above description of radios and antennas, The same goes
for the Icom Ic-R3.

IT'S THE SAME FRICKIN ANTENNA ON THE SAME FRICKIN RADIO.

Now, I just got done, in another posting, explaining this: If you don't have
a ham license, then GET ONE. HOA's, State, County, municipal governments
have no "right" to pass ANY regulations regarding Ham Radio installations.
Ham radio installations are GOVERNMENT EMERGENCY INSTALLATIONS, and as such,
they have FEDERAL PRE- EMPTION over any regulations passed by ANY State,
local, town, city, or HOA. Get a ham license, join the arrl, and when they
start messing with you about it, call the arrl, and tell them what is going
on. Because they are willfully interfering with a government radio
installation. Let's see how THEY like getting fined 500 dollars a DAY for
such interference....

Your a Dufus, and do not know the Law, as it applies to PRB-1.... HOA
Restrictions ARE Deed Restrictions, (read Private Contracts) not
Civilian Statutes, (Read Government Statutes)

Deed restrictions STILL will not withstand federal pre - emption. they are
still interference with a government radio station. what part of "NO
regulations can be passed by ANY other authority" do you not understand ?
