Is a 210XLT still worth buying

Hi, I'd like to have a base scanner for home and have heard good things about the Uniden Bearcat 210Xlt. Given its age is it still worth buying (I'd be looking at second hand on eBay).

depends on what you want to listen to. if you are looking for police & fire
, many systems have gone to digital . and the 210 will not receive them
you need to check your area to see what is in use.
