Default NEAR Midair in SEALORD area, pilots are $issed!

At about noon today I was doing some searching. Happened to get a hit on
273.0000, appears to be a TOPCAT a/a freq. While there, they couldn’t
believe their eyes, they had a MULLER (S-3) aircraft coming straight at
them and miss the flight of three TOPCATs by only 100 feet.

The TOPCAT pilot is a bit ticked off, then comes up on 267.5000 (SEALORD
Control) telling SEALORD of the near miss. He asks SEALORD if they ever
seen the aircraft on radar (couldn’t copy SEALORDS response). The
TOPCAT pilot then informs SEALORD about the 100’ near miss and demands a
telephone number for SEALORD. A few minutes later the TOPCAT pilot says
“screw this guy I’ll call him from the ground” right on the SEALORD
control freq for SEALORD to hear….. They then switch to 341.0000 and
273.0000.

The SEALORD areas are off the FL & GA Atlantic coasts.

Needless to say I’m sure some $$it will hit the fan when they land….I’ll
take this over police/fire listening anyday…..
