I'm really new to all this and don't know much so I have some
questions:
-Is it possible to get in the us an unbloked aor 8200 III?
-which one is better, the 8200 or the Bearcat 296D?
-In the bercat I read APCO operation, What is this?
-does the 8200 needs trunk tracking to listen to police?

-what is the principle of cellular telephone listening ( having an
unblocked scanner)?

Principle of cell-phone is encrypted digital timeslot transmission.
There is no No NO scanner available for to listen to this in clear
speech. At best you will receive something like scratchy noise.
You must have direct access to the providers system for "background
listening".

But if the single is in analog you will have no problem..
