RS PRO96
Just purchased a Radio Shack Pro 96. It is all that they say it is
and it outperforms my Bearcat BC785D in sensitivity, intermod, and weight. I get about 10 hours of battery life using an earphone and the fact that it can store up to 6000 fequencies is just great. The trunking works great and about the only thing it doesn't do is scan commercial FM and TV stations, but who buys a scanner to listen to them. I have placed it side by side with a Motorola Astro25 HT and other than not being able to transmit, and it has a smaller speaker I was not able to tell the difference. |

I have had my Pro-96 since early Dec. It is by far the best scanner that I have ever owned. Brian -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian J.
