Trunking Problem
Hi All.
I have a RS PRO-97 scanner and trying to enter a group of trunking frequencies. When I enter them just the way the book says and hit scan it goes to one channel and just buzzez. It just seems to be in regular scan and not trunktracer mode. The system I am putting into the scanner is an EDACS 800MHZ trunking system. Any help is appreciated. George-NY |

You REALLY need to use the WIN97 software. Programming a trunking system by
hand is almost impossible, Are you trying to do Port Authority or Nassau? "George-NY" wrote in message ... Hi All. I have a RS PRO-97 scanner and trying to enter a group of trunking frequencies. Hi Bruce
Thanks for reply. I am programing Nassau County. I programed my PRO-95 and it worked great but programing the PRO-97 does no work. George-NY "Bruce Markowitz" wrote in message ... Are you sure that all the channels AND the bank are set to EDACS? And that the frequencies are in the correct order (which wouldn't give you the problem you have, but would give you a problem)? |

Thank you Bruce and Al for taking your time to help me. I checked over what
I had entered and all was set to ED except the control. It was set to MOT. How that happened, I have no idea but it is now working. Thanks again. George-NY "Al Klein" wrote in message ... When I first got my 246 and was trying to program it, I had the computer on with the manual, the manual that came with it open, and a couple times I got it so screwed up I had to delete the entire system I was trying to program and start over. It was completely different from the Pro-95 I learned on so it was all new again almost. -- "Everything in excess! To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites. Moderation is for monks."
