The last CRT I had was a 35" Toshiba. I have a 50" DLP now. Waiting
for kickoff.

Here in SoCal there is 1080i, but not p. And of course the old 480i on the
Mexican analogs. 720p is the best I've seen OTA. On the smaller 32 in the
bedroom I can't tell any difference between 720p and 1080i, but the 600w
AV
system really rocks when the NASCAR guys say "crank it up".
Oh, and as to the bread and butter being OTA viewers,
that's only if they fill out a diary and don't lie on it too much. g


720p would be better than 1080i, which is more or less equivalent to 540p.

There are 2 true HD formats in the US. 1080i/30fps; 720p/60fps
