Is it possibly the Israeli Galei Zahal, in Hebrew, which is nominally on
6973, but which is known to vary?

...seems to have a very broad signal with at least 10khz. Best reception
here in AM with 6khz bandwidth.

Just catching a "numbers speech" wich was introduced by some "naive
music" on 6959 USB

The station on 6959 is indeed a numbers station. It is the 'Lincolnshire
Poacher'.

It was definately not hebrew languange. Now going to play some pop
music. Just playing "Sultans of Swing"...

Sure sounds like Israel to me then, they play that kind of stuff on there.

The 'Lincolnshire Poacher' started the numbers transmission again on 6959 at
2200. Propagation to the Eastern Mediterranean is very poor today.
