Default Radio Japan on 5975 in the midwest?

0500 UTC, and I'm picking up 5975 here in podunk,IN (the middle of
nowhere). Passport to WB Radio says this is the signal for europe so I
wasn't sure who the heck I was hearing. I scrolled over to 6110 and yep,
it's the same. 6110 comes in about S1 (very faint & scratchy) while 5975
is a good S9 + 40 on this ancient NC 125 with 20 foot of wire thrown on the
floor for an antenna. This old tube gear never ceases to amaze me!
