The Creative Labs TravelSound II
http://us.creative.com/products/prod...8&nav=features is small & stereo and works okay for $50, takes 4 AA's, claims 25 hours. I don't know what to use it for exactly; I was thinking playing a RadioYourWay back might be a nice application. They suggest MP3 players etc. You could brighten your 7600G with it, I guess, though the number of rechargeable AA's you'd be using at once is starting to grow to almost unmanageable proportions. It takes a 5v wall wart but one is not supplied. It's about the size of a YB400 as it sits unfolded on the table. It has a switch that seems to be meant to be an AGC, if I understand the cryptic instruction sheet, that appears to have no affect whatsoever. Perhaps it actually has no effect, since they don't seem to advertise it. -- Ron Hardin On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk. |
