If people actually *read* that book, they will quickly notice the
following:

- Only the epilogue was written by John Kerry. The vast majority of
the book was edited or written by other people.

- John Kerry does not appear in the cover photo, contrary to some of
the lies published about the book.

- The majority of the book consists of John Kerry's congressional
testimony - something available from many other places, including any
library which carries the Congressional Record.

IMHO, there isn't anything new in the "most feared" (ha!) book, and
therefore Senator Kerry probably doesn't give a damn who reads it at
all.

Then why does he refuse to allow it to be republished? Hmmmmmmm...

I would take a harder look at the Kerry testimony in the congressional
record. The book is just another piece of evidence on the un-American
activities he was involved in upon his return from Vietnam.

I guess that's true, but how many have the "distinction" of having
their words played to POWs under extreme conditions. Does that also
come under the heading of "protesting a war"? See, that's the thing
with the Senator; the more you try to rationalize his conduct, the
harder it gets.

While it is ongoing. Kerry looks to have been the vanguard of the
communists effort to break the will of the US to fight the war.

No, you can't. Kerry, while STILL IN THE NAVY, actively sought out the
Communists in power in Viet Nam to illegally negotiate with them. Kerry
gave fraudulent testimony before a congressional committee. "Any war
protester" didn't do those things. "Any war protester" doesn't have his
picture in a shrine in Viet Nam, labeled as a hero of the Communist
Vietnamese.
