If you can understand Spanish, Radio Exterior Espana
has some games on. I am slowly (very slowly!) starting
to remember some Spanish from high school, so I can
pick up every 6th-7th word spoken, but I can get the
feel of the game that way. The more I listen, the more
I wonder what influence ESPN had on international
broadcasting, and vice-versa.

the spaniards (and the rest of the 'soccer' playing world, which is pretty much
every one else) was broadcasting games like this way before espn ever came onto
the scene... they make every second sound exiting

The BBC still has football every Saturday afternoon. There is usually
a second-half commentary on air from about 1610 UTC. Coverage of live
scores etc starts at 1500 UTC.

Cheers

Andy
