I have a Yaesu FT-100 rig with power cable, quick-release mounting bracket,
separation kit, new "basket" for the separation kit. (The one with the
separation kit has a broken catch but is still functional also). I have the
manual and stock mic to go with it.

Like most of the early FT-100s, this rig will wander up or down the band
when source voltage is below 13 volts DC. I used it for a few years like
this, mostly on FM and MARS freqs, always mindful of keeping the engine revs
up when at a stop light and in a qso.

I bought it used, and it had been back to Yaesu for all updates by the
previous owner. That said, it would still show the high SWR icon on
occasion when used with the ATAS-120. I have replaced it with a FT-857D.

The rig is a "beater". I have kept it in a briefcase for emergency backup,
but have since built a "jump kit" using a FT-897D, SCS Pactor III
controller, MFJ Tuner, LDG Auto-Tuner, MFJ Soundcard interface and 8 port
USB to Serial converter. I just don't have a need to keep it anymore.

The power quick disconnect used on this model has blade type connectors on a
pigtail to the rig. Yaesu ha since discontinued it's use in favor of the
Molex type of connector on the rig chassis. The power regulation problem
may be an internal regulator, voltage loss through the power connector or
just a design flaw. I have heard it mentioned by other owners, but not all
experience the problem.

The FT-100 is noted to have better receive performance and the display is a
little larger than the 857 I replaced it with.

This is a truthful evaluation of current operating conditions on the rig.
It has been used in a smoking environment and used mobile.

Will sell for $375.00 shipped CONUS, or will consider swapping for items in
good working condition.

I am also looking for a stock Swan Mark II amp power supply and an amplifier
that I can use with a Harris 5000 receiver/exciter that has an output of
100mw. The amp would need to have external keying, and be usable from 2 to
30 MHz,
