Default xax x2x

I just got given one of these wrist watches which seem to be sold singly

I was wondering if anyone knew what they were for? Do they actually
communicate with anything or does one have to have two to use it at all?
There is a scan button on it. All the ones on e-bay SEEM to be being sold by
dealers at somewhat more than their wholesale price. (and are usually being
sold singly, implying that there is some use for them as such?)

Has anyone one of these fo rswap if they can only be used in pairs?

Sorry about that 160dude, is there a better newsgroup concerned with
transceiver radios where I enquire about this Xact x2x radio?

Hi
Those wrist watch radio's are FRS (family radio service) they are good for
short distance comminications and yes you need 2 of them or someone on a
regular FRS handy talkie radio.
And yes this is a good newsgroup for asking about them since it is a radio
its radio related.
Dont mind the other retards who have to attack and abuse because they are to
stupid to answer your question.
Just do a google search for FRS for more info on the subject.
